Hello All, Well, that was not much of a winter but we did have some good lengthy ice cover. Now that winter is over it is time for our spring meeting. A few of us went down to Trenton to meet with the DEP. Unfortunately the DEP was not very helpful with their guidance of an acceptable plan. Our engineer Valerie Hrabal of Greenman Pedersen, Inc will continue with the studies to come up with a reasonable plan. We are attempting to get an approval for as little money as expected. We would also like to discuss a one fee structure so all of the residents can enjoy the property and also increase cash flow. Many ideas have been brought up, including not using the lake for swimming but for general recreation. This would mean building a barrier down by the water and turning the beach area into a grassy area. As we have always said, the lake is there for the enjoyment of everyone. I have seen ice skating going on and plenty of ice fishing and participated in both. As usual our plea is that everyone pay their fees and join as a member. I know it is not much now, but it will be near impossible to make the land and the building presentable unless we get more participation. We should all take pride in our facility for little more that a nice place to live and give your families a safe place for recreation.
Regards, Charles Lohr
